Live Well with Chronic Pain is a free, 6-week workshop for individuals who suffer from chronic pain. Caregivers and/or family members are also welcome. Participants will learn how to manage pain using Action Planning, Decision Making and Problem Solving. Topics covered in the 2.5 hour sessions include healthy eating, dealing with difficult emotions, the Moving Easy Program, pacing and planning, and better breathing. Originally developed at Stanford University, this evidence-based program is beneficial in helping individuals take control of their chronic pain.
Dates: Tuesdays, Sept. 10, Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 1, Oct. 8 and Oct. 15, 2019
