This privacy policy describes the guidelines that Connecticut Community Care, Inc. (CCCI) follows for information collected during your visit to this website. This policy does not apply to information we collect through other resources. We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes to the policy by posting the new policy here and by changing the “Last Updated” date at the top. This policy also does not apply to personal health information covered under HIPAA, if any, for which we have a separate HIPAA privacy policy. Unless otherwise agreed by CCCI in writing, by using this website you accept and agree to be bound and abide by this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use found at this page, into which this Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. If you do not want to agree to these this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use, you must not access or use this website.

  1. The Information We Collect

Certain information is automatically collected when you visit our site. The types of information collected when you visit our web pages include your IP address, the date and time our web site was accessed, the page or pages you visited, the time spent on a page, images you accessed, what the web server told you the result was, and what your web browser told the web server was the page that referred to the page you asked for. For Registrations/Donations

In order to use certain features of this site, we ask that you complete various registration forms for events, seminars and workshops. During this process, you may be asked to give certain contact information such as your name and e-mail address, corporate affiliation and job title, address and phone number. This is used to contact you regarding any questions or in case there is a change in plans regarding an upcoming event.

If you make a donation, we will retain a record of your contribution.

CCCI may use information about you to contact you in an effort to raise money for CCCI or to promote a future seminar or event. This information would be limited to the contact information you provided such as your name, address, and e-mail address.

Purchases

Whenever you place an order via this site for publications, information requested would include name, address, and financial information such as a credit card number and expiration date. This information is used for the purposes of filling customers’ orders.

Personal information received is used for internal purposes only to provide requested services, process the registration or donation, contact you directly regarding requested services, a registration, or donation, provide you with a newsletter (if you have signed up to receive it), to provide and maintain this website, to provide administrative communications to you, to monitor and collect aggregate website use metrics, to analyze donation trends, to notify you of changes to the website or CCCI’s services, to fulfill any other purpose for which the information is provided, as otherwise permitted by this Privacy Policy, and for any other purpose with your consent.

We are not in the business of selling information about our customers. There are circumstances, however, under which we may share information with or allow access to our database by third party vendors, to the extent that those third parties provide us with services that help us operate the website, such as payment processing and website analytics. These third party vendors are contractually bound to use the personal information only in accordance with this policy. There may also be occasions when we are legally required to provide access to our database in order to cooperate with investigations or other legal proceedings. In those instances, the information is provided only for that purpose.

While your individual personal information is protected as outlined above, we reserve the right to use aggregated, anonymous data about our visitors as a group for any business purpose, such as, without limitation, analyzing usage trends. Information we collect may also be used to improve the content of our website, track activity on our site, develop new services, respond to inquiries, and for future fundraising/marketing purposes. Visitors take responsibility for visiting these other web sites and should review their privacy practices as CCCI has no control over information submitted to those sites.
